it’s a wonder hwy people keep on falling in love even if they’ve been hurt before. it’s like going through the pain again once more, but this time, it is because of another person. it’s like never learning the lesson from your past, it’s like nothing happened, like you never got hurt. all those tears, heartaches, drama, and all those that you’ve felt are for nothing. but why do people really fall in love again, whether it’s for the same person or for another one?
i think the answer is quite simple. because after everything that they’ve been to, they still feel the need to fall in love. because eventually, time has healed their wounds and their hearts are as good as new. remember, our hearts may be stabbed, broken, crumbled and crashed, but time will come and our hearts will be healed. and that’s the reason why people would fall again. because this time, they will try to make things right. isn’t it that past relationships are the lessons you’ve learned and the mistakes you won’t repeat anymore? so that when you try to fall in love again, you will know what you need not to do, and the things you have to do.
also, by meeting your pasts, it would only give you the idea of what you really want in your life. there are a lot of people you will meet, and you must set your standards AND FOLLOW THEM. or else, everything would be for nothing.
so don’t be afraid to fall in love again. love is so magical. when you get to experience those “one-in-a-lifetime” kind of love, you wouldn’t regret anything. and i promise you, it would be all worth it. so keep on falling and falling and falling and hurting. that’s the only way we can get by. and sooner or later, it would all mean something. ;) <3
